Say It Without Words: Introducing the Hand Series
Some prints need a paragraph to explain themselves. These three don't need a single word.
I'd been itching to create a hand series for ages. Something minimal, illustrated, and instantly understood, because hands say everything: hello, peace, cheers, and occasionally something a little less polite. So I drew three of them, traced each one in shimmering digital gold foil on black, and let them do the talking.
Peace Sign: the diplomat
The one that keeps the peace. Two fingers, palm out, universally understood. In gold on black it feels calm and quietly elegant, the hand you hang in a hallway, a bedroom, or anywhere that could use a little more zen. If the Hand Series were a family, this would be the sensible sibling.

Two Fingers: the cheeky one
Same two fingers, palm the other way, completely different message. Two Fingers is gloriously, unapologetically British: a bit of rebellion, a lot of cheek, and somehow still rather beautiful in gold foil. It's the print people spot across the room and immediately grin at.

The Finger: the one that ran out of patience
And then there's the newest member of the family. The Finger is for days when words simply aren't enough. Elegant enough for any wall, rude enough to make everyone smile, and surprisingly popular as a home office print. I drew it, laughed, and knew the series wasn't complete without it. Sorry, Mum.

How to hang your mood
Each print stands beautifully on its own, so you can simply pick the hand that matches your household. But my favourite way to style them is all three in a row: peace, cheek and chaos, side by side. They also make a brilliantly funny housewarming or birthday gift, and the downstairs loo has never had a more fitting gallery.
Like all our gold foil prints, the Hand Series catches the light as you walk past, so the gold genuinely shimmers through the day. Each design is an original Doodlemoo illustration, printed on 300gsm paper in A4 and A3, from £22.
Which hand are you? Come and meet all three.
