HOW TO DESIGN YOUR GALLERY WALL with LALA and POM
MINI INTERVIEW WITH LUCY from LALA AND POM.
Lucy bought our YAY and Sprinkles poster and we just love her eclectic style. Something to keep in mind when designing your gallery wall is that it is your home and your style. So we ask her a few questions:
EMI: Any tips for planning your gallery wall?
LUCY: When I first started the wall I laid the pics out on the floor first and arranged flat. There were gaps at the ends so I knew what space I had to fill it. However as I come across new things I change it constantly so it's evolving all the time.
EMI: How do you find your style?
I have an eclectic style (husband constantly eye rolls!) so it's a mixture of vintage, charity shop treasures, family pictures, modern prints and I have a collection of Eiffel Tower pictures
And a thing for the queen in the 1950s plus my treasured autographed album cover of Dr zhivago from Julie Christie - this film is why my daughter is called Lara !
EMI: Why did you choose our YAY art print?
I chose YAY because I love the typography and colour sprinkles - it sits really well as a modern pop among the vintage.
